When I experienced a creative block, I found myself gazing around the room for inspiration. My eyes landed on a plant casting a shadow on the canvas, and suddenly, an idea sparked within me. I decided to incorporate elements from my surroundings into my painting, a concept that intrigued me. Later, I stumbled upon an article about Joan Mitchell, who emphasized the importance of turning to nature when feeling stuck. It dawned on me that nature was a significant source of inspiration for my work. I had not only been influenced by my emotions but also by the beauty of the natural world. In that moment, I realized the profound impact that nature had on my artistry, guiding me through moments of uncertainty and helping to shape my creative vision. Painting is signed on the back along with the title and date.
